Richard Cooper, President of Coastal Concrete began his career in the concrete industry as a laborer and quickly earned his way up the ranks into management. After 33 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of residential tract construction, Mr. Cooper continues to enjoy the daily challenges of direct project management.  

After working for the industries' top concrete contractors, he brings to Coastal Concrete the highest quality techniques. As Coastal Concrete's production manager, he schedules and oversees trenching, form-setting, cable installation and pouring.  He ensures that all slabs are shot by laser before and during the pour to maintain the greatest degree of flatness to meet the demands of today’s high standards for tolerance. In addition, he works closely with the post-production staff to pinpoint critical areas on subsequent phases to guarantee a quality installation.
